Di Su

Di Su studied violin at Shanghai Conservatory of Music and held a faculty position at the conservatory where he was a member of the faculty string quartet. He received graduate degrees in music from West Virginia University and University of Connecticut. His teachers included Ke-Qian Li, Alexander Meshibovsky, Theodore Arm, and Young-Nam Kim. He performed with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and Hartford Symphony Orchestra.  He is a violin studio teacher. His feature articles, “Fundamental Concepts in Violin Studio Teaching” and “The Tardy Recognition of J. S. Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas for Violin Solo” appeared in the American String Teacher journal. Besides music, Di Su is Professor of Library Science at York College of the City University of New York.
