Danni Gilbert, Briana Nannen, and Susan Vollbrecht

Dr. Danni Gilbert is the Assistant Professor of Instrumental Music Education at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where she teaches courses in undergraduate and graduate music education. She earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and her graduate degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Dr. Briana Nannen is an Associate Professor of Choral Music Education and Coordinator of Music Education at Marshall University. Dr. Nannen’s research interests are focused on gender stereotypes in music, gender practices in music classrooms, the psychological development of adolescents, and inclusive and community music experiences for all.

Dr. Susan Vollbrecht is a middle and high school choral music educator for Fremont County School District #1 in Lander, Wyoming. Dr. Vollbrecht earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from the University of Wyoming and both Master and PhD degrees in Music Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she received a Hixson-Lied Fellowship.
