Robert S. Freeman
Robert Freeman (1935-2022) was an American pianist, musicologist, and music educator known for leading several of America’s finest music schools, including the Eastman School of Music for over 20 years. He earned degrees from Harvard University (BA), Princeton University (MFA/PhD), and received an honorary doctorate from Hamilton College.
