American University (Washington D. C.) has announced a new Master of Arts degree in Audio Technology and a Graduate Certificate in Audio Production. The degrees supplement the program’s current offerings, a BA in Audio Production and a BS in Audio Technology. In addition to a core set of audio classes, students in the master’s program are able to either choose an area of concentration in Music Recording & Production or Computer Music or take a mixture of both. Students in the Graduate Certificate program take 15 credits of graduate work made up of courses to enhance their skills as professional audio engineers.
