Donald George is an Associate Professor of Voice at The Crane School of Music SUNY Potsdam and on the board of CMS Northeast and Dr. Lucy Mauro is an Associate Professor of Piano at West Virginia University. They have presented at several CMS conferences including the National CMS Conference in Portland, Oregon, and jointly have written articles and reviews for American Music Teacher, SAM Bulletin, Die Tonkunst, Classical Singer and others. They are now co-authoring a book for Oxford University Press entitled Master Singers: Advice from the Stage. Their recordings on the Delos label have been acclaimed in Gramophone and Journal of Singing, among others, and selected as a 2011 Recording of the Year by MusicWeb International.
