Heeseung Lee, PhD, is Adjunct Professor of Music History and Theory at the University of Northern Colorado. She co-authored the Open Educational Resources textbook Open Listener: Cross-Cultural Experience and Identity in American Music (Digital UNC, 2021). Her research interests include British and North American Beethoven reception, hyperreality in performance practice, American popular music, and music history pedagogy.
