Nathan Fleshner (PhD, Eastman) is Assistant Professor of Music Theory at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. His research focuses on musical portrayals of mental illness and video games used in music theory and composition. He writes a monthly column on music and the medical humanities for The Polyphony.
