Damon W. Sink

 Damon Sink is a composer, music theorist and audio specialist who has been on the UD faculty since 1998. He is active as a composer, music theorist, conductor and record producer. Recent projects include The Horn in Opera (Richard Chenoweth, 2008) Storyteller, (Mary Elizabeth Southworth. 2009) Twentieth Century Romantic: Music for Violin and Piano (Albany Records, 2005) and Storia (Eroica Records, 2004. Music for piano. Philip Amalong, piano). He has studied composition with Samuel Adler, Joel Hoffman and Allen Sapp and has presented on a wide range of subjects, from multimedia to Mozart, at events in the U.S. and in Europe. He has written music for choirs, chamber ensembles, solo voice and jazz orchestra. Sink earned his doctorate in composition from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2007.
